What information does the Blacklist Monitor service provide?
Immediately after entering your IP address(s), the Blacklist Monitor service checks against 15 (trial) or 100 known spam blacklists (licensed version). You can access the report area in your account to see if you are blacklisted on any of these. You also receive an email message to notify you of the blacklisting. Statistics are kept on the time of blacklisting, delisting, and duration of listing. You will also be shown a URL that will lead you to the site that has listed you. Licensed users will have access to insider information on how to be delisted.
Blacklist Monitor will continue to monitor your IP(s) for seven days (trial) or one year (licensed version), keeping you informed of all activity!

What if I don't know the IP address being used to send my email?
The Blacklist Monitor service offers a number of tools to determine your IP address(s). With your domain name or mail server name, you can easily retrieve this information.

How does the email notification of a listing work?
You are sent an email after you sign-up for Blacklist Monitor listing any blacklists you are currently on. You are also sent an email anytime you are newly listed on any blacklists. You do not receive constant emails of lists you have already been notified of. However, if you are delisted, you receive an email message to notify you. And if you are blacklisted again on a particular blacklist, you receive a new email notification.
You can also login to your account at any time to view, real-time, any blacklistings you may have.
Important Note *** If you do not receive immediate email notification when you sign-up for your Blacklist Monitor service, it could be because of the following reasons:
1. The email you provided at sign-up is not valid.
2. You or your ISP is using a filter requiring any new sending email address to respond to a challenge message before delivery. As Blacklist Monitor is a mechanized system, it will not be able to do this.
3. Your email client requires us to be added to your "buddy list" to allow us to deliver messages to your inbox. Please add sales@blacklistmonitor.com to your list.
